Scene 5 - Foyer, Night
Scene 6 - Lounge, Night
Scene 7 - Foyer, Night
Scene 8 - Foyer, Day

Eating with demon…
Scene 1 - Lounge, Day
- ‘Stephen descends the stairs…’
- wide sitting at table, slow track in to mid (eye level, slight low angle?) OR jib, start wide on feet, jib up to face then push into mid at table
- wide lens profile C/U going to bit sandwich then looking round past lens
- POV from Stephen at top of stairs, to see silhouette in doorway.
- track following bottom half of stephen (showing book) with camera slanted with stairs.
Scene 2 - Doorway, Day
- ‘The salesman opens a briefcase...’
- POV from Salesman looking through glass > goes into a mid of Stephen (as the door opens?)
- extreme low angle of Stephen looking at leaflet (possible POV from leaflet) – would this mean he would look down the lens?
- POV of Salesman looking at briefcase as he opens it up, then tilt up as he looks at Stephen
- move with door shutting looking down, with his foot jamming door?
- wide lens EC/U on salesman during his line (fisheye??)
- C/U on Stephen tilting his head (possibly tilt with him and tilt back to norm)
- Salesman POV of door slamming
- MS from behind Salesman as door slams, and continues as he turns around to leave and camera moves into a low angle CU as he moves into it, then he stops, gives a shifty look and leaves frame as we pan up on house.
- ‘His position in the seat shifts...’
- Low angle shot of him sitting (16mm)
- Camera moves in a tiny bit as he edges forward - jib in to meet him at a medium C/U. As he sits back jib moves back to first position.
- ^ ‘Stephen hops halfway out of his seat...’ (he will just appear as if he is going to get up but stays seated initially) covered in previous shot (jib could go to eye level to begin the transition for low to high angles in the film)
- ^ Move swiftly into CU on his face at the same dramatic speed that he moves forward (perhaps into fisheye lens?)
- ‘His nervousness is met by quiet darkness...’
- Long POV shot of the front door from top of the stairs, making the stairway look narrow
Scene 4 - Stairwell, Night
- ‘Stephen makes way down stairs…’
- track following bottom half of stephen (showing book) with camera slanted with stairs. (SIMILAR TO SCENE 1 SHOT BUT MORE UNEASY) basically make stairs look straight
- I feel like we need to show his face a bit as well – tilt up to his face
Scene 5 - Foyer, Night
- ‘At the bottom of the stairs Stephen sees photos of himself...’
- POV from Stephen’s perspective of photos on ground
- Over shoulder of frames on ground
- POV from people inside frame? over lens have cracked glass? YES OMG MADI YOU CREATIVE GENIUS!
- Cut to moving camera POV at top of the stairs peering around and down at him
- ‘...he stalks back up the stairway...’
- Switch between CU of his feet from behind, to POV shot from top of stairs moving in on him as he moves up the stairs (as if they are going to collide)
Scene 6 - Lounge, Night
- ‘...He is becoming quite distressed...’
- As he moves and turns, camera does the same thing, perhaps in and out of focus, in the opposite direction to him. Cut in between CU and MCU.
- If he leans back and forth the camera could move in when he moves forward then back when he does? Me Likey
- Jib moving around room showing stacking of belongings
- ‘...names have appeared...’
- Fast pan around to blood on the walls and move camera in to CU on the images on the walls
- If it’s written on a mirror we could also get his reaction to it as well.
- ‘...electronics start going crazy...’
- POV from ghosts who are hidden in amongst electronics staring out at him. Blinking??
- Go from over should on mirror with him turning to look at electronics C/U - ???
- Wide of electronics going crazy
- ‘...runs down the stairs again...’
- Follow him awkwardly?
Scene 7 - Foyer, Night
- ‘...but it won’t open…’
- Profile medium C/U on hand holding handle, jib up to face (slight high angle) cutaway.
- Follow him down most of stairs from MCU behind him. Stop at the bottom of the stairs, and when he can’t open the door, as he turns around again, move camera into his face from an odd low angle into a CU.
- mind destroying horror’ bit
- Birds eye wide of Stephen in ball on ground - have a lighting change with sun coming up.
Scene 8 - Foyer, Day
- ‘Salesman...stepping over Stephen...’
- POV from (blinking??) Stephen’s eyes, tossing around then looking up and the Salesman comes into focus with a white light behind him from outside that looks almost spiritual.
- Low angle POV of Salesman / silhouette possibly haze machine to make it spiritual.
- EC/U on Stephen muttering then with shadow come over his face (Salesman).
Scene 9 - Lounge, Day
Eating with demon…
- Birds eye wide of Salesman cutting sandwich (very balanced, symmetrical)
- POV from demon (similar to scene 5 POV) peering around corner
- A glance from Salesman to Demon
